The Ob River is a major river in western Siberia and is the world's seventh-longest river. It forms at the confluence of the Biya and Katun Rivers which have their origins in the Altay Mountains. It is the westernmost of the three great Siberian rivers that flow into the Arctic Ocean.

It is a reservoir of about 1,082 km² near Novosibirsk on the Ob in the Novosibirsk Oblast and the Altai region in the Asian part of Russia.

Very good northeast wind from Novosibirsk to Krutikha. From Krutikha to Novosibirsk the wind was my opponent because it was just upwind. All in all, a very nice short trip in which I could gather good knowledge about ski edges, covers and wax.
